Banner Health Selects ExhibitOne for Audio Visual Solution to Support
Medical Education
 
Phoenix, Arizona based ExhibitOne Corporation has been awarded a contract to integrate and install a turnkey audio visual solution for Banner Desert Medical Education Center.   Working in collaboration with the audio visual consultant firm Jeremiah and Associates, the new a/v equipped facility will host lectures, sophisticated presentations, training and education for doctors, nurses and administration.   
 
Banner’s main amphitheater will consist of multiple projection systems that will display informational content from the lectures and education sessions.  The experience of educational lectures will be enhanced by a state-of-the art multimedia podium that has intuitive capabilities such as annotation.
 
Furthermore, the facility will also be equipped with video conferencing technology that will allow presenters and participants to interact from around the world.  In addition, the facility will also have studio production capabilities operated from a dedicated control room, so that Banner will be able to archive presentations and key information from the educational sessions.  
 
 
The AV solution consists of the following technologies and components:
 
Color touch-sensitive flat screen monitor for viewing video and controlling a/v functions
Multiple projection systems
Control room with custom control panels

Paging and background system
Custom control systems (wireless and wire line)
Digital recording and storage
Document camera for displaying printed documents pictures, overhead transparencies or 3D objects
DVD/VCR combo player
Laptop ports for connection to Ethernet, ac power and a/v
Connection port for portable auxiliary a/v devices
Audio/video switcher and a/v signal processors
Gooseneck microphone and wireless lapel microphone
Personal computer with wireless keyboard and mouse
