ExhibitOne Provides Audio/Visual Technology for the Nuclear Regulatory Commission Courthouse
It’s being called one of the largest and most complex administrative hearings in U.S. history. It involves hundreds of judges, litigants, and witnesses in hearings 2,500 miles apart and is so extensive that no facility in the country could possibly handle it. The only solution was to create one of the first courtrooms in the world that operates using a comprehensive, fully integrated, digital courtroom system. Starting from scratch, many different types of vendors and contractors contributed to the development of this highly complex courtroom. But as the Nuclear Regulatory Commission manages and accurately captures the record of the hearings for licensing the country’s first long-term, high-level nuclear waste repository at Yucca Mountain, Nevada, they and all participants will benefit from ExhibitOne’s role in engineering and integrating all of the cutting-edge audio/visual technologies that make it work.
